LOST was a show chronicling the tales of the survivors of Oceanic Airlines Flight 815 plane crash on a mysterious island filled with black smoke monsters, Others, secret research projects and polar bears, amongst other incredible things.

By season five the cast of the show were split up and traveling through time, with some people, including James 'Sawyer' Ford (played by Josh Holloway) landing in the 1970's when the 'Dharma Initiative' were conducting their scientific experiments on the island.

Murder, She Wrote TV props on display...

Once upon a time, Murder, She Wrote was the longest-running mystery show on TV, which starred Angela Lansbury as 'Jessica Fletcher'.

The character was a retired school teacher, turned best-selling author of mystery novels and an amateur sleuth. Her adventures took place mainly in Jessica's hometown of 'Cabot Cove' or New York, but book tours and visits to friends and relatives took the amateur detective all over the world solving mysteries.

The popular series ran from 1984-1996 and spawned 12 seasons and 264 episodes, plus Angela Lansbury reprised her role for several special television movies in subsequent years.

I'm not a Murder, She Wrote expert but there was an episode in season 11 (11.11, 230) named 'An Egg to die for', where Jessica helps a Russian policeman capture the mastermind behind the theft of a Faberge egg. Maybe this jeweled prop was from that episode.

I'm sure there were countless murder weapons used in crimes throughout the series, but these are just two daggers used as props on display at Universal Studios Hollywood on January 7, 2011.

TV props, costumes and masks from Buck Rogers in the 25th Century...

Based on a character created in 1928 by Philip Francis Nowlan, Glen A. Larson's Buck Rogers in the 25th Century TV series starred Gil Gerard in the titular sci-fi role.

A feature-length pilot about the NASA pilot accidentally frozen for over 500 years and waking up in the far future, was released theatrically in March 1979 (capitalising on the success of Star Wars two years earlier), and spawned a television show which lasted for two seasons from 1979 to 1981.

These authentic items used in the production of the television series were photographed on display at Universal Studios Hollywood on January 7, 2011.

'Twiki' was 'Buck Rogers' robotic sidekick and often wore the computer intelligence 'Dr. Theopolis' around his neck.

Felix Silla was the actor behind the mask in the robot suit, but Mel Blanc provided his voice for the majority of the series, aside from in the second season when he was voiced briefly in a few episodes by Bob Elyea.

Twiki's catchphrase was 'bidi-bidi-bidi'.
